　物事には得手不得手があります。だから計画を立てるのも生まれつき上手下手があるかもしれませんが、実は計画を立てるのがうまい人は決まっているのです。それは、「白紙から立て始めない」人です。

　会社に勤めている人にとって、5連休だの10連休だのはかなり贅沢な期間に思えるはずです。それだけの日数があれば、何だってできるような気がするものです。しかしそれは錯覚です。

　連休を無駄にしないよう、年末の計画を立てている人もいるでしょう。それは非常にいいことです。ただ、その計画通りに物事が進む可能性はそう高くありません。計画は頭の中で行うものであり、頭の中では何をしても疲れないからです。

　例えば「部屋の掃除」などと簡単に書いたりイメージしたりできますが、念入りに部屋を掃除するとそれだけでドッと疲れます。そのあとにやることははかどらなくなりますし、そもそも手もつけられないかもしれません。

　コツは、やるなら一気に大量に行わず、ちびちびと少しずつやることです。5連休あるなら掃除を5日に分け、そのほかにやることも5日間に分けた方が現実的です。そして休みが5日間なら、最大で25時間分くらいの作業時間しか取れないと思うのが賢明でしょう。
